"Sea Cider is a farm-based cidery located on the Saanich Peninsula just minutes from Victoria, on Vancouver Island. Their ten acre farm is home to over 1,300 apple trees, made up of over 50 varieties of heritage apples.
Whether you are considering an intimate ceremony with a dozen friends in our forest “stumpery” or a larger celebration with over one hundred guests, Sea Cider offers many options. April through October our celebration tent is a weatherproof option that can accommodate 120 guests for a seated dinner or up to 150 guests for a stand-up reception. And year round the ciderhouse is able to accommodate up to 60 guests for a seated dinner or 80 for a ceremony and cocktail-style reception."

An engagement session with your photographer is an opportunity to exercise comfort and ease in front of the camera. Also a valuable time to get to know your photographer and feel confident visually long before your wedding day and will make a difference in the outcome of your wedding images.
I spend 2-3 hrs with my couples, listening to them, learning about them, watching their nuances, laughing and playing, getting to know them all the while capturing their uniqueness on camera.

In 2003 this magnificent property became the Villa Marco Polo Inn, a property that evokes the memories and images of the countries along the Silk Road, from Venice through the Middle East to China: Persian carpets, exquisite silks, Italian and Chinese ceramics, and fine antiques and art.
A reflecting pool with fountains is the centrepiece of the Italianate gardens, where elegant events, notably weddings, take place from late spring through early autumn. A sculptured wrought iron marriage arbour is located under an ancient spreading Garry oak tree on the west end of the lower garden. The upper garden, separated by a balustrade, has patio and seating areas, and a stone table where brides and grooms may sign the registry, cut their wedding cakes, sip champagne, and savour the moments.
There are a variety of both venues and suppliers and too many to list. Depending on your vision and needs I'm certain there is one out there for you. If you do not find what you are looking for in this suggested list, please do not hesitate to contact me and perhaps I can direct you accordingly.
A fabulous backyard wedding taken pace in Metchosin BC at Tanya and Ian's home. So chilled with very little scheduled events other than playing on the grounds, listening to a groovy DJ, cocktail and delicious food, followed by dance and finally a midnight fire!
